We believe that the diagnosis, even the most severe, does not have to mean the worst. Helping has become our life: we want to carry strength and optimism in the fight against the disease – in line with our mission – to help more.
Our motto: Don't give up. We're here with you!

It has been known for a long time that the mental attitude of a sick child plays an extremely important role in the treatment process. A patient who shows a positive attitude is better able to endure the hardships of the disease and is more motivated in pursuing health. The "Krwinka" Foundation has been focusing on this kind of aid for years; offers its charges psychological support, organizes rehabilitation and leisure stays during which children participate in an innovative project of active film therapy (creating a film as part of the psychotherapeutic process), and from this year's Children's Day, she surprised all little warriors with a therapeutic fairy tale of her own production.

Most often, you can meet us in the wards of the Maria Konopnicka University Clinical Hospital No. 4 in Łódź. This is where we direct the greatest help but also support other paediatric oncology clinics. We equip them with specialist medical equipment necessary for treatment – including infusion pumps for many hours of intravenous cytostatic drugs, oxygen concentrators, pulse oximeters, laminar chambers, cytospine centrifuges, dermatoscopes and cardiomonitors.
Thanks to the great commitment of our foundation, it has become possible to establish and equip a hospital in Łódź on Sporna Street of the One-Day Oncology Ward, modernise the Onco-Haematology Ward and provide comprehensive equipment for the hospital hotel for parents of hospitalised children.

There is also time to play to effectively ward off sorrows and bring joy back to children. We systematically organise various events and celebrations at the hospital such as Valentine's Day, Fat Thursday, Easter, Children's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas meeting with Santa Claus, theatre performances or visits from special guests.
An important part of the activity of ‘Blood Cell’ is organising holiday and rehabilitation stays for children during intensive treatment. Kids go on holiday with their parents. The trips provide a chance to relax in the summer and forget about hospital reality but, most of all, to also be together and improve one's psychophysical condition. We cooperate with the best specialists, such as: psychologists, pedagogues and physiotherapists who look after children. Under their watchful eye, small patients participate in hippotherapy, dog therapy, plastic art classes and rehabilitation classes. For children in the final stage of treatment or cured, we organise seaside stays.
However, to be able to help and achieve our goals, we need to raise funds. The support of all people with a good heart is crucial in this regard. There are possible different forms of support such as financial or in-kind donations or joining the ‘Blood Cell’ volunteers.
Only together can we do good every day!
