The tax return period has begun. This is a moment when you can provide real help at no additional cost. Therefore, on behalf of the beneficiaries of the Foundation for Children with Cancer “Krwinka”, children suffering from oncological and hematological diseases, we kindly ask you to donate 1.5% of your tax.
We would be grateful if you shared our request with your families, employees, clients, and friends.
Such a small gesture can turn silence into a melody of hope.
By donating 1.5% of your tax, you become part of a community of donors who help children recover faster by providing them with appropriate conditions and caring support.
Why is it worth supporting the “Krwinka” Foundation?
✅ We do not charge any fees or commissions for managing individual beneficiary accounts
✅ For over 30 years, we have been helping children with oncological and hematological diseases, their families, and clinics
✅ In 2025, nearly 4,600 children and their families received our support. We provided almost 3,840 hours of psychological assistance in hospitals and outside them. We reimbursed beneficiaries’ expenses totaling PLN 2,509,923.39
MAIN AREAS OF THE FOUNDATION’S ACTIVITY
Financial and social support:
- “Help at the Start” program – PLN 6,000 per year for the most disadvantaged children
- Covering the costs of medicines not reimbursed by the National Health Fund, as well as other treatment and rehabilitation expenses
- Daily contact with families staying in hospitals and telephone consultations
Psychological and educational care in hospitals and at “KrwinkoPort” (a support center for children and families during long and difficult treatment):
- Individual and group psychotherapy for children and their families
- Manual therapy, activities, and music therapy
Rehabilitation and camps:
- Physical rehabilitation at the patient’s bedside and in the therapy room at “KrwinkoPort”
- Rehabilitation and rest camps for children in intensive treatment and their families, as well as holiday trips after treatment
Initiatives for children and families:
- Holidays, events, and celebrations organized in hospitals and outside them
- Meetings of patients cured of cancer and those currently undergoing treatment, filled with shared activities, concerts, and the message that everyday life after illness can be full and beautiful
Education and social campaigns:
- “Golden Team – Together for Our Cancer Heroes”
- Educational workshops in schools
- “Time for LoveR” campaign – in 2025, participants covered nearly 250,000 km for children with cancer
Support for oncology and hematology clinics:
- Purchase of specialist medical equipment, including diagnostic analyzers, volumetric pumps, cell counters, and innovative wristbands that reduce pain in children
- Participation in the creation and furnishing of new spaces at the Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Clinic of the Central Clinical Hospital in Łódź
