"600 floors for the 600th anniversary of Łódź" is a challenge successfully undertaken by Jarosław Piechota, a resident of Łódź and a specialist in tower running, i.e. running up and down stairs.

 

On August 5, 2023, he covered 13.5 thousand meters in 4 hours. stairs, repeatedly running up 13 floors. Jarosław Piechota is one of the few athletes in Poland who practice towerrunning. This time in Łódź, in the Orion skyscraper at Sienkiewicza Street, he climbed 600 floors, running up to the 13th floor 46 times and taking the elevator down.

 

The challenge had a noble goal - the money collected during the run went to the beneficiaries of the "KRWINKA" Foundation and will be used to support children with oncological and hematological diseases undergoing long-term and difficult treatment. Jarosław Piechota has been practicing towerrunning for 20 years and intends to continue his sports passion, always supporting those most in need.
