At the Department of Pediatrics, Oncology and Hematology, a long-awaited sound filled the ward - one that Alicja and her loved ones had been hoping to hear for a long time. Alicja completed her treatment and, following the ward’s tradition, rang the victory bell. We were delighted to celebrate this special moment with her.

The ringing of the bell marks the end of an important chapter. Although its sound lasts only a moment, it represents so much more: the time spent undergoing treatment, the difficult experiences, the patience, and the determination it took to reach this day. It is also a moment of joy for Alicja’s loved ones and everyone who supported her throughout her time at the hospital.

Today, above all, we want to share in Alicja’s happiness. She has rung the victory bell and can now begin a new chapter, with more room for the simple joys of childhood: playing, spending time with friends, discovering new things, and pursuing her dreams.
