We have launched a series of free school workshops as part of the Gold Ribbon Campaign. Throughout September, Childhood and Adolescent Cancer Awareness Month, we are visiting schools to talk with students about emotions, empathy, and how to support their peers during cancer treatment and after its completion.
Our workshops draw on the experience we have gained through our daily work with children undergoing cancer treatment and their families. We approach each topic in an age-appropriate way, creating space for students to ask questions and share their thoughts. We also show that support can take many forms and that kindness and understanding make a real difference in everyday school life.
Each workshop lasts one school period (45 minutes). We can conduct workshops for up to three classes at one school per day. Participation is free of charge, and dates are arranged individually with each school.
Schools interested in organizing workshops are invited to contact Natalia Leszczyńska at natalia.leszczynska@krwinka.pl.
When submitting an inquiry, please include the name and address of the school, as well as the full name and phone number of the coordinating teacher. We will get in touch to confirm your registration and arrange the details.
