Valentine's Day is always a special time for Krwinka. Also this year, on February 14th, the Krwinka Foundation for Children with Oncological Diseases wants to show everyone a lot of love. The foundation will visit the patients with cuddly toys at the oncology wards of the Maria Konopnicka Hospital in Łódź. Guests visiting Manufaktura from 10:00 will receive hearts at the Krwinka stand near the main entrance throughout the day.

 

A good tradition of the Krwinka Foundation is a Valentine's visit to the patients on February 14th. Valentine's Day is a great opportunity for giving children struggling with oncological diseases even more warmth, love, hope and energy to fight for their health. “Every year on Valentine's Day we visit little patients of oncology wards of the Łódź Clinic although, in fact, they get a lot of warm feelings from us every day”, says Elżbieta Budny, President of the Blood cell Foundation. “On Valentine's Day, like every holiday, we want to take their thoughts away from serious illness for a moment. This is also the time of giving presents to our children. Today, these are lavish toys and, along with those cuddly toys, a whole lot of our support and good energy!”

 

On this day, near the main entrance of Manufaktura, the Krwinka Foundation will also promote the idea of sharing love with the most needy by handing out symbolic red hearts throughout the day. The stand, in the red colours of the foundation, will operate from 10:00. There you may not only receive a keyring with a heart (a great gift for a loved one!), but also learn how to help children fighting cancer.
