The "Krwinka" Foundation once again visited the oncology departments of the Children's Hospital in Łódź. The reason for this was Women's Day and the upcoming Men's Day. Gifts were given to both adults and children - mums, dads, grandmothers, grandparents, aunts, uncles and, of course all patients. The Foundation also did not forget about the hospital employees. The kits contained valuable cosmetics and various knick-knacks that the foundation received from kind donors.

However, gifts are not all, equally important is a warm word. So there was no shortage of wishes coming straight from the heart. "Krwinka" knows how important the hope for a better tomorrow is during the often arduous treatment process.

- In oncological diseases, the time needed to achieve full health can be long - explains Elżbieta Budny, President of the "Krwinka" Foundation. - it is important that during this whole process, both - our charges and their families do not run out of inner strength. This is one of the goals of the Foundation to effectively ward off sorrows and bring joy to children.

Employees and volunteers of the "Krwinka" Foundation come to the oncology wards of the hospital at Sporna street with wishes, gifts, a smile and kindness on the occasion of each holiday. Not only before Christmas or Easter, but also on Valentine's Day, on Mother's Day or - just like now - on Women's Day and Men's Day. Organizing pleasant surprises for patients and their relatives on the occasion of holidays and festive days is one of the most pleasant activities of the Foundation.

However, in order to be able to help and achieve its goals, the Foundation must raise funds. In this matter, the support of all people with a good heart is essential.
