Natalia Kustosz fell ill with leukemia in 2015. She immediately became the protegee of "Krwinka" Foundation. In the book she recalls among others trips with us to rehabilitation, as well as leisure stays (including to Greece) and events, holiday events, celebrations organized by the "Krwinka" Foundation on cancer departments in the hospital during her therapy. Sfe also writes about meetings with psychologists and volunteers of "Krwinka", which - she claims - played a very important role during treatment.

 

The pages of the book repeatedly contain memories of Natalia's personal meetings with the president Elżbieta Budny, whom - just like the entire staff of "Krwinka" Foundation - she thanked for her help and support in the illness by writing a special dedication on the pages of the copy of the book given to us as a gift.
