On November 25, the pediatric oncohematology departments at the Pediatrics, Oncology and Hematology Clinic on Sporna Street turned into a real land of cuddly toys. On the occasion of Teddy Bear Day, employees of the "Krwinka" Foundation took on the role of cheerful teddy bears. In their fluffy costumes, they brought a lot of joy, positive energy and... of course - teddy bears to the hospital rooms!

All children received a wonderful teddy friend. Teddy bears, donated from the heart, became not only a symbol of comfort and support, but also a unique companion during difficult moments. On such days, even small gestures can evoke great emotions and make time more pleasant.

This beautiful event would not have been possible without the amazing fundraising campaign organized by the John Paul II Communal Kindergarten in Piątek. The preschoolers, together with their parents and teachers, decided to share their warmth by organizing a fundraiser for teddy bears for young patients. Thanks to their commitment and support, a lot of new cuddly toys appeared in the ward, which brought sincere delight and smiles to the children's faces. The initiative was the result of many conversations and workshops, during which the teaching staff, using short stories and pictures, brought the difficult topic of oncological disease closer to the children.

Teddy Bear Day showed how important joint initiatives are, which unite people with big hearts. Thanks to the commitment of the kindergarten and the creativity of the Foundation team, it was possible to create an atmosphere full of warmth and hope.

We would like to sincerely thank Mrs. Marta Wójcik from the John Paul II Communal Kindergarten in Piątek, who with great commitment organized the collection of mascots, and all the generous donors: parents, children, teachers from the kindergarten, who contributed to the implementation of this event.
