The everyday life of children with oncological and hematological diseases and their families during long-term treatment is largely related to the hospital reality. Usually one parent takes care of the sick child 24 hours a day, and the other takes care of the siblings, works and takes care of the house.
Many months of therapy and the complex recovery of young patients affect relationships in different ways, which is why every moment spent away from medical devices is priceless. Especially in such unusual circumstances as a football match!
On September 1, 2023, the beneficiaries of the "Krwinka" Foundation for Children with Cancer and their loved ones supported the ŁKS Club players in the match against Warta Poznań, sitting in the stands of the stadium at al. Unia Lubelskiej 2 in Łódź. The moments spent in unique circumstances were a priceless sports attraction for cancer warriors, and the great fun will remain in the memory of all participants for a long time.
Thank you very much from the Łódź Sports Club for the invitation and we wish you good luck in the next matches in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa. It's great to know that we support each other!
